We were blown away by the creative shareable plates. Everything we tried was better than the last! Service was great and the cornbread was to die for.

Visited the Wild Hare after apple picking with the family . Kids enjoyed the grilled cheese and hot chocolate, while the adults had the chicken sandwich, eggs with toast along with a ice coffee and beer. Great spot for food and drinks.

Our go to spot for dinner! Have been here 3 times and has been excellent every time. You can taste the care and effort that goes into dishes made on the handcrafted menu that changes seasonally. Every dish was delicious and balanced! Scratch kitchen, so everything is made fresh. The only downside is they only serve beer, no wine or spirits available. With a full bar this place would be perfect!

My experience at The Wild Hare in Hudson, MA, began with high expectations. I'm in the Boston area for business, and I adhere to the mantra of "work hard, play hard." This place came highly recommended after a productive day, so the bar was set high - perhaps too high after my visits to Boston's downtown fine restaurants and bars earlier in the week. I was invited for dinner, and what a surprisingly delightful dinner it was. The dishes, despite their humble origins, were crafted with the precision and creativity of a seasoned chef. Having spent time in northern Italy and west Croatia, the nearby Austrian peasant-inspired dishes, presented in an American mac & cheese variant, transported me back to my childhood - absolute perfection. The totally unexpected Caprese salad variant, featuring peach instead of mozzarella over a ricotta spread, was simply brilliant. It was a refreshing and innovative take that I hadn’t anticipated. However, my choice of pairing the meal with beer tasting sliders was a slight overkill - that was on me. A good, simple red wine would have been a much better choice. The staff at The Wild Hare works tirelessly to deliver a top-notch experience, but their broad offering of cafe, kitchen, and brewery seems to dilute their identity somewhat. It feels like they're trying to do it all, which might be stretching them too thin. A strong call to the Hudson community to support this hidden gem is necessary. It was unjustly quiet on a Friday night, which shouldn’t be the case in a fortunate and cultured neighborhood like Hudson. This place deserves to be bustling with the good-standing and good-tasting folks who can appreciate the effort and quality being put forth here.

I really love it here! The vibe is amazing. I've been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food and drinks are delicious (best lavender latte I've had), the music they play is always lovely, and the staff is always so kind! The only reason I gave service four stars instead of 5 is sometimes the wait staff will just keep coming over to ask how things are. I totally get it's part of their job, but after the fourth or fifth time it just gets to be a bit overbearing. Otherwise I highly recommend it!

I absolutely loved this cafe! The delicious breakfast options, including the mouthwatering avocado toast and savory mushroom toast, were a perfect start to my day. Their authentic coffee was a true gem, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The cozy environment and outdoor seating added to the charm, making it an ideal spot to relax and savor my meal. Five stars without a doubt! I'll definitely be returning soon.

One of the best meals we've had this year. The dishes were so tasty and creative, and more than plenty to share for two people. We got to try part of their Oktoberfest special menu! Beers were excellent. The servers were knowledgeable and super nice, we had lovely Saturday evening dinner! Plenty parking, there are outdoor tables. Cool mill building and you can see the beer barrels in the back.

Although it got its start as a breakfast/lunch cafe this place is a hidden gem for a top quality dinner experience in a non-pretentious friendly atmosphere. The menu isn't large, but is carefully curated offering a variety that should interest most. The ingredients were fresh and layered for rich flavor. The portion size is just right in that you can actually finish your meal and be satisfied with room to share a dessert (or appetiser) if you wish. Best part is despite the level of quality which exceeds many Boston restaurants the prices are quite reasonable. Don't sleep on this, it is going to get discovered and will be difficult to get a reservation before too long.
